Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Representative to support 1,100 non-unionized employees across various departments, including manufacturing, engineering, program management, and functional resources. This role will be pivotal in driving HR initiatives, fostering positive employee relations, and partnering with leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness. The Senior HR Representative will manage a variety of employee-related issues and initiatives, contributing to the long-term success of the business.Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations & Coaching: Build and maintain strong relationships with management and employees, providing advice and counsel on organizational and employee-related matters. Serve as an advocate for employees and coach both leaders and employees. Data-Driven Insights: Use data and insights to assess site climate and implement HR initiatives in collaboration with HR Business Partners and local leadership to mitigate risks and enhance business performance. Employee Performance Management: Manage performance improvement plans, grievances, claims, investigations, and terminations, working closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, Ethics, Security, and other key stakeholders. Leadership Coaching: Coach leaders on performance management, inclusion, change management, and other strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Collaborative HR Strategies: Partner with the broader HR network (HR Business Partners, Talent Management, DEI, HR Analytics) to develop and implement strategies tailored to site-specific needs. Process Improvement: Utilize process improvement and lean manufacturing tools to align HR processes with business needs, identifying innovative ways to automate and streamline processes. Special Projects: Lead and support assigned special projects that align with overall business objectives.Skills Required: Extensive experience in complex investigations and organizational diagnostics. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Proven experience in coaching and developing leaders.
