This role encompasses responsibilities such as security administration, business process design, compensation setup, end-user training and experience, and managing communication channels for employees and candidates. Additionally, the Senior HRIS Manager oversees reporting and analytics functions.This position demands a significant focus on vendor management, understanding business needs in order to drive vendor selection, process changes, and system integrations. The goal is to deliver a superior experience to applicants, candidates, employees, and management. As such the incumbent will personally oversee end user training, adoption and communication.A key aspect of this role is to understand the needs of internal clients and effectively collect, analyze, and present data in a meaningful and engaging way, enabling informed decision-making and performance management. Developing and distributing critical reports and dashboards is a primary responsibility, with an emphasis on accuracy and clarity. This position will ensure that our HR tools support key functions such as talent acquisition, compensation programs, performance reviews, benefits administration, payroll and reporting.The Senior HRIS Manager is also responsible for driving continuous improvement processes to optimize functionality and enhance data integrity. This includes ensuring complete and accurate adoption of the tools by end users and overseeing the communication and training efforts to ensure effective use. The Senior HRIS Manager is expected to perform all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs.The Senior HRIS Manager is expected to live the Purpose and Values of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and will go beyond the call of duty.Primary Responsibilities of the Senior HRIS ManagerProvides timely and effective day-to-day support for HRIS applications and data tools, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.Consults with management, downstream data users, and end users to analyze requirements and identify solutions to address emerging needs, functional enhancements, and HRIS optimization.Develops reporting, analysis, and process automation tools to support effective HR data management, minimize user and data entry errors, and ensures compliance with regulations.Evaluates, updates, and maintains system rules, settings, configuration, and data structure to ensure accurate transaction processing in compliance with company standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements, Performs routine data integrity audits.Manages and coordinates ongoing data validation and system testing to ensure data consistency with defined needs.Manages vendor relationships to ensure service delivery, resolve system and user experience issues, and optimize system use.Develops and maintains efficient process diagrams, accurate process maps, user reference materials, data definitions, interface specifications, and other documentation.Delivers and supports end-user training and system-related communication as needed.Oversees and manages the suite of HR tools, including the Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, Benefits Platform, Organizational Chart Tool, Payroll System, and 401(k) Administration Platform.Serves as a primary resource for vendor/system setup, maintenance, and implementation, including end-user training and system administration.Develops project plans and monitors the progress of HRIS initiatives.Supports the set up and administration of performance reviews.Identifies risks and opportunities, recommending process changes to improve HR service delivery.Leads all HR reporting efforts, including receiving and interpreting report requests.Develops dashboards to report key metrics.Represents the Tribe in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the Tribe.Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate person.Day-to-day ResponsibilitiesSame as above.Education/License/Certification and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration or related field. Will accept 10 years of senior level HR System experience in lieu of degree for highly qualified candidates.Minimum of five (5) years of fulltime, recent, progressively responsible HRIS experience with direct expertise in integrating, configuring, and managing tools for a successful human resources operation.Three (3) years of project management experience, to include working with senior leaders.Must have successfully led at least one HRIS selection and implementation, ensuring full adoption of an integrated tool set by the HR department.Skills RequiredDedication to understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations, building collaborative relationships across business units to achieve business objectives.Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other tools used to tell data-driven stories.Demonstrated ability to influence and manage change, effectively leading change management initiatives.Excellent planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.Experience in understanding and translating business priorities into actionable HR strategies, ensuring the HR value proposition aligns seamlessly with the Tribe's needs.Proven track record of forging strong business partnerships and driving cross functional collaboration in dynamic, fast-paced environments; a strategic leader who takes initiative and ownership to deliver impactful results.Ability to effectively conduct virtual presentations and training sessions. A live demonstration of facilitation skills will be required as part of the selection process.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Maintains confidentiality at all times.Ability to communicate effectively, utilizing interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.Additional RequirementsMust possess a valid state driver's license and an insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.Ability to adequately and successfully perform all duties and responsibilities of this position.Every applicant must complete an application provided by Human Resources.
