Job Description:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for developing and driving the People & Organization (or “P&O” – what we call Human Resources) strategy for a key set of business groups within Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) and works closely with senior leadership in this capacity. This individual will act as a trusted partner to the business, bringing deep insights, an independent viewpoint, and P&O expertise to business issues. This individual will bring a proven track record of translating business strategies into P&O initiatives that effectively drive and support business performance including profit, growth, and customer and employee engagement across the organization.This role can be remote from anywhere in the US or hybrid. This role supports two globally distributed leadership teams. 10-15% travel is required, as necessary.This role reports to the VP, P&O for our Go-to-Market organizations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively engage with senior business leadership to understand key objectives, challenges, and opportunities and recommend P&O priorities and initiatives to support the direction the business is taking.Partner with leaders and their teams to provide coaching and counsel on matters related to organization design, organization development, workforce planning, talent management, and all aspects of the employee lifecycle.Drive and manage significant organizational change management and culture development initiatives that support the business in its growth objectives.Partner with senior leadership to embed a continuous focus on a high-performance culture to ensure our teams deliver high-impact results and to build a robust talent pipeline. Drive the performance management process, including target setting, performance, employee development and Talent Reviews.Collaborate with Zone and COE P&O colleagues to ensure our work serves the needs of our customers within the business.Maintain in-depth knowledge of US legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required. Manage and resolve Employee Relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Understand organizational health; use data to uncover insights and make recommendations to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness.Partner with Talent Acquisition on organization's recruitment efforts.Own talent & employee development, including the identification of L&D/training needs for business units. Collaborate with Talent Development team to select and implement training.Manage special HR projects as needed, including M&A and restructure activities.Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.Partner with P&O Managers in other locations and countries to ensure P&O-related business needs are met globally at the business division level.Partner closely with Finance on various matters, including headcount approval process.Role Requirements:Bachelors degree plus 10+ years relevant P&O functional experience with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above; Masters degree desired. Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) or other HR certification is preferredStrength in coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, written and verbal communication, process development, analytical skill, and problem solving. Strong business and financial acumen; ability to translate business strategy into P&O strategy.Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships with senior leadership as well as strong rapport quickly and broadly across a global customer team.Experience working in a matrixed organization preferably in a global environment.Fluent in the English language.Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.Advanced proficiency using applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Transform the EverydayThe salary range for this position is $140,100 to $252,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
