The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr HRBP) is a dynamic role with many facets of HR. The Sr HRBP will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide HR initiatives such as but not limited to; automation of HR processes, implementation of a new HRIS, compensation studies, gap analysis of employee facing topics, designing and conducting compliance audits, designing LMS materials, and acquired business integrations. The Sr HRBP will regularly engage all functions of the business by working closely with the HR Director and leadership. This role will support fellow HRBPs located regionally throughout the US and internationally in driving efficiencies within the employee lifecycle.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a global HR liaison to leadership and all employees at multiple locations throughout the United States and internationally.
- Work closely with the HR Director reinforce the HR cadence to the business.
- Present and align with executive leadership on HR initiatives. Report progress, results, and business impacts.
- Work within the HR team to design and implement meaningful metrics and enhance reporting capabilities. This will require meeting with various leaders to ensure the metrics are relevant (turnover, performance, compensation analysis).
- Create new processes and automation to align with the desired employee experience.
- Drive projects that enable the HR team to be strategic.
- Drive and support multi-state and country employment law compliance initiatives.
- Leads annual talent review process and 9 box discussions.
- Plan and support regional events such as leadership training, company announcements, regional events.
- Stays current on HR trends to develop solutions using current best practices.
- Conducts or assists with record audits and reports, which may include I-9 audits, employment filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
- Ensures compliance of federal, state, and city employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned, such as driving the HR road map.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to influence outcomes through human resources knowledge.
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations to help the company stay in compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally. This position requires 30+% travel based on company growth and business needs.
Education and Experience:
- At least 15 years of HR experience at a Generalist or Manager level
- Bachelor's degree with specialization in Human Resources or equivalent HR/business experience
- HR certification required
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
- Experience with various Human Resources Information Systems.
- DOT compliance experience preferred
- LMS experience preferred
