We continue to grow at a record pace and offer this exciting career opportunity to join our team where we are focused on attracting and engaging exceptional talent, empowering colleagues to achieve fulfilling careers, and creating fun and engaging products that are second to none for our customers.Position SummaryThe Senior Human Resources Generalist will take direction from the Human Resources Director in support of manufacturing and corporate client groups including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration and other duties as assigned.Primary Roles and ResponsibilitiesPlay a role in the planning and successful execution of key initiatives which include:Human Resource policy interpretation and the oversight/administration of Human Resource procedures and assist with handbook updates and revisions.Develop and support development plans and structure for hourly workforce.Help advance the onboarding process beyond employee's first day.Prompt investigation and resolution of employee issues.Coach and council supervisors and management in the facilitation and feedback of annual performance appraisal and review process, including data collection for merit increases.Maintain monthly safety reporting and Human Resource compliance data management.Manage Time and Attendance Policy for the plant hourly population, issue warnings, and adjust attendance points as warranted in a timely manner.Identify and measure Human Resource metrics and report on a regular basis.Supporting general employee communications and occasional trainingAssist in the development of job descriptions, organizational structure changes and knowledge transfer.Lead employee investigations, resolving Human Resource and Payroll issues raised by employees, and responding to employees' concerns and questions.RequirementsExperience and EducationBachelor's degree in HR, HRM, HRD, or Business-related field required3+ years Human Resource generalist experience in a manufacturing environment requiredBi-Lingual (Spanish) a definite asset to this roleHighly proficient skills with the latest versions of MS SuiteKnowledge of local, state, and federal labor lawsAbility to maintain total confidentiality.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills while always treating employees with respect.Possess strong business orientation and process improvement skills.Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.This role requires flexibility to work variable shifts on occasion.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
