Role Summary
The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing all HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management. This individual is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and recruitment/employment, all while assuring compliance at the federal, state and Pro-Vision levels.
Job Description
· Bachelor's degree in human resources and/or seven+ years human resources experience.
· Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
· Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems to enhance organizational effectiveness.
· Provide expertise in workforce planning and organizational design
· Develop and execute talent management strategies that support our business strategy as well as assist in the creation and execution of action plans to develop leaders and key talent within the organization.
· Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
· Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises, as necessary.
· Performs benefit administration; including 401K maintenance, change reporting, benefits management, and records management.
· Manages Company HRIS system for complete and accurate employee information, organizational charts, benefit information, performance review management and recruiting integration.
· Processes employment applications and assists in other recruiting activities and works with all departments to develop and execute new hire training.
· Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies & procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
