As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to build and lead our HR department from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the companys payroll and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Build the HR department from the ground up, including processes, systems, and infrastructure, to support a growing organization.
- Ensure compliance with all HR laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes and advising leadership accordingly.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Lead and execute training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
- Conduct HR audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Travel as needed to support HR needs at other company locations or events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, including payroll, benefits, and policy development.
- Proven ability to work in a hands-on role, building and scaling HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Passion for creating and shaping a best-in-class HR function.
- Ability to travel as required.
