Job Description:

We are seeking to hire an experienced paralegal to join our business immigration team. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Respond to inquiries and contribute to consultations with potential and existing clients
  • Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States
  • Assist case attorney with case intaking, establishing and troubleshooting case strategy, preparing immigration applications or petitions
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues, assist with case review and oversee the status of cases through utilization of case management systems
  • Be aware of all client profile changes, paying close attention to business opportunities
  • Update client database regarding any changes in contact information
  • Work closely in a team environment and effectively communicate case progress and issues with attorneys, legal assistants, and the Business Development Department
  • Have the exciting opportunity to work with our Legal Tech team on AI product development

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of immigration experience required, business immigration law preferred
  • Minimum of bachelor s degree required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to serve as primary liaison between clients and attorneys
  • Must be able to work independently and meet assigned deadlines
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different personalities and temperaments in the firm
