Information about Moxa's solutions is available at www.moxa.com .Purpose of this Position: This new position is a highly visible opportunity to interact with local and international leadership, key accounts, and channel partners to better understand and grow this important these strategic industries for Moxa. The Industry Marketing Manager (IMM) is a subject matter expert for the assigned industries and is the key marketing interface between Key Account Sales, Business Development, Regional Marketing, and the product management teams. The IMM is responsible for coordinating all MOXA resources needed to effectively manage the assigned industry for the local RBU market and provide Product Management with voice of the customer and market information for assessing competitors and opportunities. The IMM will position the assigned industry both internally and externally for growth and market share gain while working closely with Moxa sales team, channel partners and key customers. Major Areas of Responsibility:
  • Responsible for driving awareness, reputation, and demand within the industry ecosystem to equip sales to achieve revenue and opportunity pipeline results.
  • Delivers industry ecosystem insights aggregated across all sales teams and channels.
  • May take hybrid-BDM responsibilities to seed market prior to dedicated sales resources being in place.
  • Identify market and technology trends within the industrial marketplace and targeted vertical markets in which emerging standards, customer needs, and the competitive market landscape.
  • Provide comprehensive industry, product, and application knowledge to support the success and growth of the SBU and applicable vertical markets.
  • Contribute to the publication of application notes, white papers, technical articles and interviews within industry magazines, trade journals and associations.
  • Work with RBU management to set the annual SBU quota for the Americas and play an active role in the forecasting, reporting and achievement of quota.
  • Create training and sales presentation materials. Responsible for training company sales and channel sales personnel on technology and product lines, targeted vertical markets, and applications within the markets.
  • Work closely with the marketing communications group to help set and coordinate the local RBU product promotion strategies and establishing respective promotional activities. Highlight customer testimonials and success stories per market segment.
  • Contribute to the new product development/product enhancement for the local RBU marketplace.
  • Develop and align RBU business plans with SBU business plans during annual business planning workshops. Act as liaison between RBUs and SBUs to ensure that both parties are up to date on the current business status and are aligned on business strategies.
  • Be an ambassador for Moxa outside of the organization.
  • Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar engineering major. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Certificates/Licenses: Not applicable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience working in one or more of the assigned industries or a related industry in sales, product or industry marketing or another relevant role.
    • Technical background preferred. Experience in networking, computing, IT or industrial controls a plus.
  • Language: Fluency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Travel: Domestic and international travel will be required. Will equate to ~25%.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills that enables regular interactions with sales management, R&D, regional marketing, product marketing, and other relevant teams regarding project status, technical issues, and customer feedback. Skilled in tailoring go-to-market activities to the industry ecosystem.

  • Compensation:
    • Salary
      • Compensation Range (including Base Commission Bonus): $150,000 - $225,000/annually depending on candidate qualifications and geography.
