This is a hybrid role where candidates will be expected to work from the Ash NYC office at least 3 days a week. About the Role Ash is seeking a highly experienced engineer who can bring DevOps and system expertise to a rapidly growing team. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be able to work across the organization to design and maintain key systems and processes that scale in tandem with a rapidly growing healthcare company. Teams at Ash work on a variety of challenging problems, ranging from building asynchronous systems that handle complex order fulfillment tasks at scale, to designing web experiences that allow patients to access care more easily. You'll be a leading voice in helping teams like these in the development of strong infrastructure, reliable systems, and QA practices. Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering teams to build infrastructure solutions to problems throughout the business.
- Support teams across the organization in establishing strong deployment pipelines and QA processes.
- Work across the organization to strengthen development, testing, and alerting infrastructure.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters, and implement best practices for container orchestration, monitoring, and automation.
- Identify network bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure network security and compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years working in a DevOps or related role at software organizations.
- Expertise in the following technologies: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Lens, Terraform, Sentry, and Cypress.
- 3+ years building QA and reliability infrastructure
- Knowledge/experience with GCP products and services.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining development infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts like autoscaling, failover, redundancy, traffic analysis, etc
- Strong background in debugging and diagnosing network bottlenecks.
- Experience with security administration
