JOB DESCRIPTIONThe JPMorgan Internal Audit department is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Chief Data & Analytics Office Audit team.As a Senior Internal Audit Associate on the Chief Data & Analytics Office team, you will be responsible for assisting with ongoing risk assessment, control identification, audit execution and continuous monitoring activities across the CDAO organization. This position is ideal for an experienced IT audit professional, with an interest and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Data, as well as the audit and risk skills to effectively execute global audits.Internal Audit is an independent function at JPMorgan Chase that aims to enhance and protect the firm by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. We work with every Line of Business and Corporate Function to assess the internal control processes that drive our global business. Using cutting-edge audit technology, data, methodology and sound judgement, we bring a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls.Job Responsibilities: Participate in audit engagements from planning to reporting and produce quality deliverables to both department and professional standards while ensuring audits are completed timely and within budget.Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to evaluate, test and report on the design and operating effectiveness of management's controls.Communicate audit findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement.Create and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, while providing independent challenge.Contribute to a collaborative working environment with team members and peers, supporting a culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation.Stay up to date with evolving industry and regulatory developments.Find ways to drive efficiencies in audit process through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) required.Experience with auditing technology controls and an understanding of emerging technology (e.g., Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning).One of the following professional qualifications is required: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Experience with internal audit methodology and applying concepts in audit delivery and execution.Solid understanding of internal control concepts, with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Strong analytical skills, particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness.Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a keen interest in learning; effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
