About the Inventory Strategy Team

You will be part of the Inventory Planning organization that is responsible for the strategic planning of inventory positions to drive sales, manage inventory turn and meet or exceed financial targets for your area of responsibility. Inventory associates are innovators, optimizers and problem solvers who are constantly seeking opportunities to move the business forward.

Overview of the Inventory Strategy Role

As part of the Inventory Strategy team, you will support system implementation and optimization, drive business and process improvement and provide training to support these initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide user support for Inventory Planning systems used for Demand Forecasting and Allocations.
  • Maintain system parameters that drive safety stock levels, supply chain rules, and product classifications.
  • Develop, refresh, and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI reports.
  • Translate complex information into user-friendly insights that can influence business strategy and drive action.
  • Create step-by-step documentation and reference guides to support training and troubleshooting for Inventory Planning systems and business processes.
  • Test new systems and functionality to identify bugs and best practices prior to implementation.

Criteria

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate across a wide range of cross-functional partners, including technical and inventory planning teams.
  • SQL and advanced Excel skills with experience in manipulating large amounts of data.
  • Effectively manage workload amongst competing priorities.
  • Ability to think innovatively to solve problems.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Inventory Management or an analytic-based position.
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the (San Francisco, Rocklin, Portland, New York, San Jose) office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay rate for this position is $100,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
