About the Role The Senior IT Manager will oversee all aspects of our information technology operations, ensuring that IT initiatives align with the company's business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing global IT teams, implementing technology solutions, and enhancing system performance. This role reports directly to the Director of IT. This role requires that you be on-site at least 4 days per week in our New York City office.Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic IT Planning: Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team in the US to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • IT Operations Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of all IT systems, including networks, and applications.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
  • Project Management: Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and secure the best service agreements.
  • Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to optimize operations and ensure data integrity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
About You
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management roles, with a track record of leading successful IT teams and projects
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration
    • Experience with enterprise-level applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Suite)
    • Expert understanding of MDM technologies (JamF, Kandji, Intune)
    • Expert understanding of enterprise grade identity management technologies (Okta, JumpCloud)
    • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
    • Familiarity with git and infrastructure-as-code
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or cloud certifications are highly desirable
  • Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse IT team.
  • Strong aptitude for strategic planning and aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
The annual base salary for the Sr. IT Manager is expected to be between $150,000 to $175,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
