Job Description:
Senior Java/AWS Cloud Developer Visa : Any ( No OPT ) Location: Merrimack, NH, Durham NC or Smithfield RI onsite 2 weeks per month starting Sept. 2024 - Needs to commit to being local within 30 days. Experience : 9+ Contract : W2 ( No C2C ) Must Have Skills: Springboot/Extensive REST API and Serverless API, Hands on AWS Lambdas, Docker/Kubernetes CICD Jenkins, Terraform, Python Scripting exp. Hiring Manager Notes: Please make sure to address each requirement in the write-up and ensure that the resume corresponds with the experience you're saying the candidate has Java- Need to be Sr./ Super hands on technical (no Leads) digging into the why / what they are doing with Springboot Microservices
  • AWS- candidates need to explain how they implement AWS Lamdas ( candiates are only telling HM what lambdas are, but not giving examples of where they are doing implementations and how )
  • Python- they use it, so need to have some exposure but not going to be asked to Develop
  • CICD- Using terraform so need to really Client out how/ what they are doing with Terraform , Docker/Kubernetes

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus
  • Current, hands-on experience modifying existing UI in React framework
  • Hands-on development experience with with Java and Python for 7 or more years
  • Strong expertise with building Java/Spring Boot RESTful microservices from scratch
  • Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
  • Experience with S3, Route 53, EC2, ECS, API gateway, Cloud Front, Cloud Trail & Lambda development in AWS and MS-Azure or Google Cloud knowledge a plus
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases in AWS
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)
  • Experience using source control for feature-driven development in GitHub
  • Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Stratum/DX)
  • Familiarity with automated deployment in Jenkins core
  • Experience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) for 1 or more strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problems
  • Experience leading various initiatives in support of evolving and growing the Technical Chapter and Chapter Area
