These engineers will be working with the AMEX Chat Platform team in American Express. They're still in the early stages of their modernization effort building Java based microservices. These engineers will be designing, building, and unit testing. For the fullstack role they need to have strong frontend experience in React. I would stay this is a comfortable 50/50 Frontend / Backend fullstack role. Someone too backend heavy will struggle updating Javascript/React applications. Both roles need to have experience in deploying cloud native applications via Kubernetes. They use Docker, Jenkins, and GitHub. 8 years experience, need to hit the ground running. Phoenix based first preference, can be remote. 2 days a week in office if local.
