The Senior Lean Engineer leads and executes continuous improvement projects in both manufacturing and business processes. They drive plant-wide initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.   • Adherence to Standards: Comply with company values, code of conduct, safety regulations, and quality system requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of systems and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and Lean principles.
  • Process Optimization: Drive standardization, workplace organization, and process optimization through techniques like 5S, standard work, and total productive maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify and resolve issues, implement innovative solutions, and coach others on Lean methodologies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and actively participate in strategic planning.ProfileA Successful Senior Lean Engineer will have:Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
    • 6+ years of progressive engineering experience
    • Proven project leadership and Kaizen facilitation skills, including Value Stream Mapping
    • Experience in aerospace or similar manufacturing environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to understand and respond to customer needs
    • Positive attitude
    • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience
