The PositionOur bank client is seeking to fill a Senior Lending Officer role in the Sidney, OH area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales efforts to generate new business based on growth goals and ensuring superior servicing of existing relationships. Leads and manages a team of local commercial and consumer lenders.The position includes a generous salary of up to $150K and an excellent benefits package.Senior Lending Officer responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the bank's in-market portfolio of commercial and consumer lending from a production, relationship, and servicing perspective.
- Managing large and/or complex commercial loan relationships.
- Overseeing residential and consumer loan production.
- Partnering with the credit department to underwrite new loans and performing portfolio management of existing in-market relationships.
- Interviewing applicants and collecting and analyzing financial and related data to establish creditworthiness.
- Working with credit analysts to prepare credit presentations, including narrative comments on cash flow and collateral analysis.
- Assisting mortgage lenders in coordinating complex requests through underwriting and decisioning.
- Monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual in-market pipelines/production totals for all types of in-market loans.
- Tracking and managing in-market loan delinquency for all types of loans.
- Developing and maintaining calling programs for local centers of influence, including residential/commercial contractors, realtors, community development partners, and other loan referral sources.
- Promoting the cross-selling of all bank products and services to loan customers, when appropriate.
- Making pricing recommendations for in-market commercial/consumer rates in collaboration with the bank's Pricing Committee.
- Training and mentors Commercial Lenders and Branch Managers on loan products, loan structures, and pricing, for all types of in-market loans.
- Supporting branch overdraft/payment decisions, providing wire approvals, and providing cashier check signing.
- Serving as a resource for credit policy and procedure interpretation for all in-market lending staff.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent related experience.
- Five or more years of commercial and consumer lending, relationship management, credit, and/or loan processing experience.
- Prior banking experience is required.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting and spreadsheet applications.
