Perform assigned duties to include but not limited to administration of medications and treatments per MD order, monitoring and providing interventions to meet the needs of the resident, completing accurate clinical documentation reflective of resident's current status and supervising CNA and other supportive care giver.Reports to the Nursing SupervisorProvides administrative support that is technical in nature through established nursing standards, the individualized care plan and interdisciplinary teamwork according to established local and FDVA policies and proceduresCoordinates shift assignments to team members, providing supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff and follow up to ensure completion of assignmentsProvide assistance with all aspects of resident care, treatments, self-administration of medications, coordinating medical appointments and spending time in social interactions with residents each shift workedReport resident concerns and needs promptly to the appropriate team memberAssist with monitoring and accountability of residents to enable medical personnel to accomplish health related tasksFollow Resident's Rights policies at all times and maintain confidentiality of resident informationConsistently work cooperatively and respectfully with residents, family or resident representatives, facility staff, physicians, ARNP's, consultants and ancillary service providers to assist residents to achieve maximum abilities, safety and promote happinessDocument services and care plan outcomes appropriately within the facility software/databaseParticipate in staff development and orientation of new personnelAttends all in-service programs, training classes and domiciliary meetings.
