Our Client is seeking an experienced Sr. Litigator to play a critical role in strategically advising on and litigating complex real estate disputes. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills and a deep understanding of real estate law and litigation.
- Manage and oversee all stages of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes
- Handle a broad range of real estate disputes, including commercial and residential property disputes, RPAPL 881 disputes, and landlord-tenant conflicts
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on complex real estate litigation matters
- Represent clients in court
- Collaborate with colleagues to devise effective litigation strategies
What you bring to the table
- 6-8 years of experience as a real estate litigator
- Experience in oral argument, depositions and substantive motion practice
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Must be flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
