Job Overview The Senior Lock Desk Specialist is responsible for locking loans, analyzing and distributing rate sheets, pipeline management, market monitoring, compliance, reporting, pricing projects, and customer service.
What You'll Do - Lock, extend, re-lock and re-price loans in Loan Origination System as requested, ensuring pricing calculations are correct
- Identify rate lock disclosure needs as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely pipeline management
- Provide support to mortgage staff for pricing inquiries, post lock questions/inquiries
- Assist with modification and maintenance of eligibility and pricing rules in a front-end pricing system
- Assist with system enhancement/update testing
- Assist with the maintenance of and updates/changes to rate sheets
- Prepare reporting on Rate Lock Desk activities
- Manage Pricing Projects
What We Need - College degree or comparable work experience
- 4+ years of Rate Lock or Pricing Desk experience
- Knowledge of current regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Present self in a professional manner and can interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts appropriately
- Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel
- Ability to complete responsibilities effectively and efficiently with minimal direction
- Ensure SLA's are met for initial underwrites, condition, and final condition reviews through effective pipeline management
