The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing equipment through comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and extend machinery lifespan.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address complex technical issues, provide guidance on equipment operation, and recommend process improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment and participating in safety improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex machinery, with a strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, automation controls, and both high and low voltage systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in a related field are advantageous.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance; capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
