General Definition of Work Performs work responsible for the maintenance of the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. This position will also assist with leading full and part-time staff in the completion of golf course maintenance and improvement projects.
Essential Functions •Provides maintenance, upkeep and repair of the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. Typical tasks involve turf maintenance to include greens, fairways, tee boxes and rough areas; planning and completion of course improvement projects and repair and maintenance of equipment. •Maintains and repairs golf course maintenance equipment and golf cart fleet. •Performs chemical applications as needed for maintenance of golf course turf area. •Operates, monitors and repairs golf course irrigation systems. •Sets up for and clean up after golf tournaments. •Available to respond and to work weekend and holidays as needed. Participates in a rotation of weekend coverage of golf course maintenance. •Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications •Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position. •Must have the ability to obtain a valid Missouri Class B CDL license. •Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
Salary per hour $17.15, plus a generous benefit package. - Bi-weekly pay periods.

- 2 days of personal leave per fiscal year. Must be employed on July 1 of the fiscal year to receive.
