We're looking for people like you to help make it happen.Job Summary:Une version Franaise suit.The Senior Manager, Accreditation plays is primarily responsible for oversight and successful management of Accreditation Activities and Projects related operational and commercial needs within a specific region. This includes but not limited to:
- Leading/Project Management of key accreditation projects and activities
- Securing and maintaining existing accreditations and regulatory recognitions
- Maintaining expert knowledge related to accreditation requirements
- Maintaining relationships with external bodies
- Direct supervision, mentorship, and oversight of Accreditation Managers
- Advancement and continual improvement of the CSA accreditation processes
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:- Assume a leadership role for overseeing, delegating, maintaining, and expanding specified accreditations and recognitions for CSA. Ensuring that applications for new accreditations and scope expansions are coordinated with appropriate stakeholders (Internal and External). Assisting in pre and post-assessment activities. Ensuring that accreditation audits are well coordinated and are efficiently managed. Providing information and training to management and staff, as required, in support of accreditations and recognitions.
- Responsible for providing to the Director, Accreditation reports on efficiencies, areas for improvement, on time delivery of accreditation activities and projects, budgetary resolutions, ROI analysis and other areas of interest with recommendations.
- Oversees and provides feedback on the financial resources needed for accreditations fees, as well as, other costs associated with accreditations and regulatory recognition. Accountable for monitoring, reviewing, and arranging for payment of accreditation fees while monitoring and reporting on value for the price paid. Accountable for the development and ongoing maintenance of the accreditation budget and expenditures pertaining to accreditation, conformity assessment and regulatory recognition.
- Prepares and transmits the applications for accreditation renewals and scope expansions.
- Accountable for managing the accreditation and recognition of CSA facilities. Oversees decisions on scope expansions or reductions of existing accreditations, and recommends new accreditations to CSA.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining all necessary accreditation records such as contact information, scopes of accreditation, regulatory recognition, accreditation requirements and related technical standards. Provides information to appropriate parties internally and externally, as required.
- Responsible for monitoring accreditation-related legislative activities to identify potential impact on CSA and communicates this information to CSA groups as required. Reviews both active and proposed legislation, communicates internally and recommends appropriate policy and position, liaises with legislators for the purpose of obtaining formal acceptance and recognition.
- Represents CSA interests in domestic and international conformity assessment body activities such as Mirror Committees, National Committees, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), The Asia Pacific Accreditation Co-operation (APAC), The European Co-operation for Accreditation, etc.
Qualifications:- Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering or Technology degree or diploma
- Sound knowledge of ISO 17065, ISO 17020, ISO 17011, applicable domestic and regional certification schemes, and other related regulations, standards, and requirements
- 15-20 years of progressive testing and/or product certification experience
- 7-10 years of direct management experience in a supervisory capacity
- Formal training in quality assurance methods
- Demonstrated strong collaborative and effective communication skills

Tches et responsabilitsprincipales :- Assumer un rle de leader dans la supervision, la dlgation, le maintien et l'extension des accrditations et reconnaissances spcifies pour l'ASC. Veiller ce que les demandes de nouvelles accrditations et d'extension de la porte soient coordonnes avec les parties prenantes appropries (internes et externes). Participer aux activits de pr-valuation et de post-valuation. Veiller ce que les audits d'accrditation soient bien coordonns et grs efficacement. Fournir des informations et des formations la direction et au personnel, selon les besoins, pour soutenir les accrditations et les reconnaissances.
- Fournir au directeur de l'accrditation des rapports sur l'efficacit, les domaines d'amlioration, la ralisation dans les dlais des activits et projets d'accrditation, les rsolutions budgtaires, l'analyse du retour sur investissement et d'autres domaines d'intrt, accompagns de recommandations.
- Superviser et fournir un retour d'information sur les ressources financires ncessaires pour les frais d'accrditation, ainsi que sur les autres cots associs l'accrditation et la reconnaissance rglementaire. Il est responsable du suivi, de l'examen et de l'organisation du paiement des frais d'accrditation, tout en contrlant et en rendant compte de la valeur du prix pay. Il est responsable de l'laboration et de la tenue jour du budget d'accrditation et des dpenses lies l'accrditation, l'valuation de la conformit et la reconnaissance rglementaire.
- Prparer et transmettre les demandes de renouvellement d'accrditation et d'extension de la porte.
- Responsable de la gestion de l'accrditation et de la reconnaissance des installations de l'ASC. Il supervise les dcisions relatives l'extension ou la rduction de la porte des accrditations existantes et recommande de nouvelles accrditations l'ASC.
- Il est responsable de l'tablissement et de la tenue de tous les dossiers d'accrditation ncessaires, tels que les coordonnes des personnes-ressources, les portes d'accrditation, la reconnaissance rglementaire, les exigences en matire d'accrditation et les normes techniques connexes. Fournir des informations aux parties concernes en interne et en externe, le cas chant.
- Suivre les activits lgislatives lies l'accrditation afin de dterminer les rpercussions possibles sur la CSA et communiquer ces renseignements aux groupes de la CSA, au besoin. Examiner les lois en vigueur et proposes, communiquer l'interne et recommander une politique et une position appropries, assurer la liaison avec les lgislateurs dans le but d'obtenir une acceptation et une reconnaissance officielles.
- Reprsenter les intrts de la CSA dans les activits des organismes d'valuation de la conformit nationaux et internationaux tels que les comits miroirs, les comits nationaux, l'International Accreditation Forum (IAF), l'International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), l'Asia Pacific Accreditation Co-operation (APAC), l'European Co-operation for Accreditation, etc.
Qualifications :- Licence en sciences appliques en ingnierie ou en technologie, ou diplme.
- Bonne connaissance des normes ISO 17065, ISO 17020, ISO 17011, des systmes de certification nationaux et rgionaux applicables et d'autres rglementations, normes et exigences connexes.
- 15 20 ans d'exprience progressive en matire d'essais et/ou de certification de produits
- 7 10 ans d'exprience en gestion directe dans une fonction de supervision
- Formation formelle aux mthodes d'assurance qualit
- Avoir fait preuve de solides comptences en matire de collaboration et de communication efficace.
