You can think strategically and act tactically by delivering effective data visualization and analytics, user-driven analysis capabilities, all geared toward driving actionable business growth. This position will be responsible for providing valuable insights, data assets, analysis, and reporting in support of Schwab's Marketing organization.We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced, self-driven senior Data Analytics/Business Intelligence developer, well versed in business intelligence development in a BI platform like Tableau, data modeling using analytics engineering best practices, SQL/Big Query, and turning the data into insights consumable by an executive audience. The analytics developer will help develop user-centric reporting that enable self-service exploration with the goal of growing new client acquisitions and driving incremental conversions/NNA from clients and prospects engaging with Marketing, as well as multiplying the efficiency and effectiveness of Marketing Analytics by building and managing the Marketing relational data model and data mart and expanding easy-to-maintain automation.Responsibilities:Structure & assemble data to fulfill analytical requirements of partners; apply best practices related to creating reusable data assets to meet reporting needsCreate a wide variety of user-centric visualizations of data to communicate insightsProactively engage business partners and other stakeholders to address risks, communicate progress and gather inputCollaborate with product and business stakeholders to gather requirements, hypotheses, identify success metrics, and determine feasibility of analyses and data assets in current and future statesHave an extensive understanding of data architecture, tools and applicationsLead others in the application of quality control concepts; identify data insights and clearly communicate to business partnersServe as the Marketing data model subject matter expert, demonstrated by the ability to address questions quickly and accuratelyDevelop subject matter expertise around key Schwab systems & domains Collaborate with internal Marketing Analytics partners to deliver best-in-class and holistic solutionsWork closely with business partners to build a strong, well defined engagement model that ensures optimal project scoping and prioritization while balancing business impact and success. Gather strong technical business requirements to ensure good solution design and architecture, and utilize development expertise to create a defined project scheduleManage relationships to gain alignment across data and technology partnersDeliver as a trusted resource for all things data and analytics for the Marketing business*This is a hybrid position, working out of one of our service center locationsWhat you haveTo ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Analytics professional or a related role.Experience creating and maintaining automated data solutions required.Deeper experience and education necessary for more complex business intelligence projectsAdvanced skillset with SQL structured programming/Big Query, data modeling, and data analysis development.Must be able to translate business requirements into SQL from scratch without the assistance of a code generating tool and able to understand existing complex SQL.Experience leveraging and reconciling data across multiple source systems.Experience managing data and analytics as a product.Preferred Qualifications:Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail.Passion for business intelligence, data, and analytics, and a commitment to drive positive change.Strong curiosity to understand clients and improve overall business impact.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective presentations tailored to specific audiences and can articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand formats.Experience with Agile project management, preferred.Mentor and train analysts and junior developers on the team, able to train others on data modeling and production best practices.Experience presenting to an executive audience a plus.Financial Services experience preferred but not required.Project execution skills with a proven track record of driving critical initiatives to drive growth.Self-starter that can thrive in a multifaceted and fast-paced work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.Influential consultant with the ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels and personality types within the organization.Strong relationship building and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.Comfort in a dynamic, fast-moving, Agile, and matrix work environment.*In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunitiesJob SummaryRequisition ID: 2024-100731Posted Date: 1 week ago(7/10/2024 12:48 PM)Category: Data, Analytics, Business Insights & StrategySalary Range: USD $123400.00 - $205700.00 / YearApplication deadline: 7/18/2024Position Type: Full time
