Job DescriptionOverview:As the Senior Manager of Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data analytics landscape. This position offers significant opportunities for impact and growth within our organization. You will be instrumental in transforming our approach to data, connecting disparate systems, automating reporting processes, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Reporting Optimization:
- Architect and execute a forward-thinking data capture and reporting strategy that aligns with and drives our business objectives
- Develop a comprehensive, adaptable roadmap for our tagging and reporting ecosystem, anticipating future needs and emerging technologies
Data Integration:
- Oversee the implementation of solutions to connect and harmonize data from disparate systems, creating an automated, unified view of our analytics landscape.
Automated Capture, Reporting and Insights:
- Lead the development and optimization of automated reporting systems, leveraging tools like Tableau to increase efficiency and data accessibility
- Oversee the implementation of intelligent data layer instrumentation that adapts to evolving business needs
- Actively monitor report suite for trends and insights, connecting cross functional teams for actions and strategy shifts
•Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
- Establish data verification protocols and implement data quality management tools to ensure data integrity
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and governance framework to establish consistency across the organization
Cross-functional Collaboration and Service:
- Democratize our data internally, serving as a data liaison to cross functional teams and leadership, garnering a self-service data-first culture
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Marketing, UX, CRM, Customer Support, and Merchandising teams to ensure data needs are met and integrated into user experience
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Experimentation to develop sophisticated targeting methodologies and test concepts
Team Leadership and Development:
- Guide the established analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Directly manage and develop the senior analyst, guiding their growth in advanced analytics techniques
Qualifications / Requirements:- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital analytics, with at least 1 year in a leadership role required
- Proficiency in BI reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Excel
- Strong foundation in SQL
- Experience in implementing automated reporting systems
- Understanding of statistical analyses, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques
- Background in web analytics, tag management systems, and digital marketing technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or related field preferred
