Enjoy working as an individual contributor and are passionate about learning languages? Join us! We are looking for a Senior Manager, B2B Global Partnerships & Alliances to join our team in New York! We seek a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to shape our B2B channel partnership and B2B2C strategy, with a particular focus on driving new partner revenue in the Americas region. In this pivotal, quota-carrying role, you will cultivate, negotiate, oversee, and enhance our partner relationships, reporting directly to the Team Lead, B2B Global Partnership & Alliances and collaborating cross-functionally with B2B leadership and the Americas Go-to-Market team. This role is based out of our NYC office. We have a flexible and hybrid work environment with 2 days/week required in office. You will:

  • Develop our Americas playbook: Develop, implement, and execute a partnerships playbook to secure long-term partnerships and expand channel partners across the Americas region
  • Drive and own new partner revenue in the Americas region: Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities at various stages with the support of regional go-to-market teams, focusing on generating long-term relationships and contracts. Take responsibility for meeting and exceeding quarterly revenue goals by managing and tracking a pipeline of partner leads
  • Manage partners across their lifecycle: Own your partners' lifecycles end to end, from commercial and legal agreement negotiation to technical onboarding to growth strategy discussions
  • Be an industry expert: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and partner needs to proactively adjust partner strategy. Contribute as a thought leader and Americas spokesperson in our quarterly and annual Global Partnerships strategy reviews, aligned with B2B's growth objectives
  • Guide partner product development: Develop rock-solid business cases that translate technical partner requirements into product and engineering projects that drive partner growth
  • Work collaboratively across the company: Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in global operations, product and engineering, GTM, FP&A and legal organizations to ensure a high level of engagement and alignment with mutual goals
You have:
  • At least a Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, marketing or business administration
  • Proven success in business development or partnerships, particularly in the B2B software or language learning industries
  • Exceptional sales and presentation skills, including cold calling, value-selling and negotiating and closing contracts
  • Strong sense of self-direction and proactive approach and exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, demands, and changes
  • Experience dealing with multiple international organizations, languages and cultures
  • Good business acumen, commercial instincts, and an understanding of partnership ecosystems
  • A creative and innovative mindset; a go-getter attitude to take initiative and collaborate well with others
  • Expertise with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and managing pipelines
  • Training and expertise in negotiations are a plus
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French are a plus

Salary Information:
  • In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000, with the potential to earn additional income through our competitive variable compensation structure. Placement within this salary range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.
  • For all other locations, the reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is in line with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
