This position will be responsible for leading two critical Strategic Planning & Performance (SPP) teams: Collaboration & Productivity Tools and Digital Health Innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare technology, digital strategy, product management, and project management to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.The Senior Manager, DCS will direct the activities of two pivotal teams within the IS SPP organization.Collaboration & Productivity Tools Team: This team is responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, and optimizing collaboration and productivity tools across DFCI. The Senior Manager will lead efforts to enhance communication, collaboration, and efficiency through the strategic deployment of digital tools and platforms.Digital Health Innovation Group: This team focuses on identifying, assessing, and implementing innovative digital solutions to advance patient experience and care, improve workflows, and drive operational excellence. The incumbent will spearhead initiatives to leverage emerging technologies and trends to transform healthcare delivery within DFCI.In this new leadership role at DFCI, the DCS manager will work with these teams to develop a roadmap that aligns with institute priorities. The work we do in Digital is a strategic imperative, and there is a strong and growing understanding of how together we will transform Mass General Brigham in innovative and impactful ways.Principal DutiesWorks with senior leadership to establish goals and objectives including the definition of work products and timelines.Develops and executes strategic plans to support the organization's digital transformation goals.Interacts with clinicians, staff, and all levels of management, including senior leadership.Proactively fosters relationships with MGB Digital and DFCI business leaders for strategic and tactical partnering.Collaborates with stakeholders across the Dana-Farber organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable strategies and initiatives.Selects and prioritizes work using request intake and management system.Leads cross-functional teams to assess, select, and implement collaboration, productivity, and digital health solutions.Works on medium to high complexity projects and/or services.Supports the IS portfolio of programs and projects.Employs service management and/or project management methodologies to deliver high quality work products.Communicates progress and accomplishments using analytics and dashboard reporting.Oversees platform governance, administration, SLAs, and evergreen practices.Monitors and evaluates the performance of digital tools and solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Works with Training & Performance team to provide recommended education with delivered solutions.Adheres to regulatory and policy requirements including data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology compliance.Promotes and encourages a high-quality customer service experience for all customers - internal and external.Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, high performance, and continuous improvement.Drives innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.Maintains professional affiliations to stay on top of evolving information systems management strategies, tactics and technologies.Manages relationships with relevant vendors, consultants, and contractors to assure delivery of contracted services and products.
