What we do: This position will be a part of the Global People Solutions team developing, maintaining, governing and delivering global mobility programs, processes and policies. You will be responsible for the policy administration, vendor management and process design while optimizing the employee experience. What you'll do:

  • Expand and redefine the Global Mobility program and implement a sustainable process that balances employee experience and legal compliance.
  • Lead the development of a 3-5 strategic roadmap for Global Mobility planning, processing and reporting
  • Develop marketing strategies and communication plans that promote global mobility (international and domestic) as part of our talent strategy
  • Implements and executes mobility programs and services supporting employee movements such as: transfers, short- and long-term transfers, assignments, country entry and domestic or international relocation.
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition to provide subject matter expertise and counsel to identify and plan strategic relocations. Assist in communicating relocation packages; answers questions and resolve escalated issues from employees.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Tax, Equity and outside vendors to ensure employment tax compliance related to transfers or assignments. Ensure strong working relationships with related COEs
  • Serve as partner and point of contact with counsel, government agencies and third-party vendors providing immigration, relocation and mobility support.
  • Perform continuous assessments of vendors to ensure that employees and managers are receiving an optimal experience working within the People Solutions service delivery framework
  • Set guidelines to facilitate immigration status applications and employment authorization for employees and candidates.
  • Shape current metrics and develop new ones to evaluate the effectiveness and assess ROI of the Global Mobility program.
  • Contribute to and promote our company culture and vision.
Who you are: Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal, communications, time management, change management, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MA/MS/MBA degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of global mobility and expatriate experience within a global technology company
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service and collaboration experience.
  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and a proactive mindset
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Have high integrity, be people oriented, present strong leadership skills, and be willing to work hard to continue this Company's success as an industry leader.
  • Experience working internationally/across cultures preferred.
  • Experience with H1B process and international work visa process, having worked with outside immigration counsel to facilitate and support work visa application process a plus.
  • Knowledgeable with laws, regulations and procedures governing international mobility and immigration.
  • CRP and/or GMS certifications desired

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. The base salary range for this role is $112,600-$206,500 USD
