Your Impact The Senior Manager of HR Operations is responsible for leading the operational aspects of the HR department, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, systems, and policies. Reporting to the Senior Director of Total Rewards - HR Operations, you will focus on optimizing employee lifecycle processes, compliance, policy, and employee experience while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Manage all aspects of the HR Operations function, including employee records, reporting, and compliance with labor laws.
    • Develop and implement HR operational strategies that support organizational goals and improve overall efficiency.
    • Provide guidance and support to HR team members, ensuring they deliver high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
  • HR Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Lead the implementation of new HR processes, leveraging available technologies, ensuring proper utilization across the organization.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and streamline administrative tasks in HR operations.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, merit, training, and offboarding.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Develop and monitor key HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR operations.
    • Provide regular reports on workforce data, HR activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
    • Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions on workforce planning, talent management, and other HR initiatives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
    • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with legal standards and organizational objectives.
    • Proactively manage HR risks and work with legal counsel on employment law matters when necessary.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team of two, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
    • Promote an inclusive, positive, and employee-focused work environment.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Proven experience with HR technology systems (HRIS), and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Desired Competencies
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR operations with business objectives.
  • Change Management: Experience leading HR transformation and organizational change initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of using data to drive HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week. The base salary for this role is between $113,000 to $135,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
