Are you ready to make a difference?The PositionThe M&A Advisory group at NNI is responsible for catalysing Novo Nordisk's fundamental growth objectives via bespoke, evidence-based M&A advisory services. Reporting into the Director, M&A Planning, the Senior Manager, M&A Planning is responsible for driving overall operational effectiveness and productivity measures designed to support M&A Strategic Advisory group objectives.RelationshipsThis position reports to the Director, M&A Planning, M&A Advisory and has close interaction with the Directors of External, Scientific, and Strategic Advisory, within the M&A Advisory Leadership Team. It is accountable for managing multiple internal cross-departmental relationships. It is accountable for managing substantial interaction with multiple stakeholders, including leadership team members in CMR, and key stakeholders in NNI and across the NN M&A Value Chain. External relationships include outside consultants, vendors, and membership in related associations.Essential Functions
  • Responsible for providing strategic and operational support to Director, M&A Planning
  • Oversee M&A Advisory group project management efforts
  • Lead the development of processes designed to enable effective and aligned functional strategies, including opportunities to drive innovation and efficiencies, while constantly seeking ways to evolve the M&A Advisory operating model
  • Responsible for developing, monitoring and analyzing KPIs to drive group performance and enable growth across the NN M&A value chain
  • Ensure that critical projects will be communicated, aligned and coordinated across team members to optimize workflow and according to business needs and business critical priorities
  • Ensure departmental projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Oversee the management of relationships, contracts and projects with vendors
  • Physical Requirements0-10% overnight travel required. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or CFA/CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management or cross-functional team leadership experience required
  • 4 years of industry or mergers & acquisitions experience preferred
  • Relevant experience includes:
  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships
  • Cross-functional experience in multiple functional areas
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engage stakeholders in a dynamic environment with tight timelines
  • Possess strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Possess superior communication skills, both oral, written and presentation, and ability to engender trust and respect of peers and superiors
  • Uncompromising ethics and high standard of personal integrity
  • Proven track record of strong teamwork, innovation, and project management
  • The base compensation range for this position is $155 to $185 K. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
