Join our team and bring your best self to the table. #LI-MG1 What you will be doing The Albertsons Corporate Merchandising Data Services Department has an opening for a Senior Manager, Merchandising Systems for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) programs. The position can be located in any of the following locations: Pleasanton, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Plano, TX, Boise, ID. Main responsibilities
  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing team of Managers and Analysts.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a staff consisting of technical, strategic, and operational personnel.
  • Evaluate and represent Albertsons business interest in the development of industry standards.
  • Responsible for Data Governance for DSD supplier information and settings.
  • Analyze business proposals and provide subject matter expertise regarding programs for Direct Store Delivery.
  • Manage programs with DSD suppliers in conjunction with other business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal business partners to identify and execute strategic business initiatives.
  • Develop, document and champion best practices for internal and external personnel.
  • Project manage key initiatives and implementations across retail stores and a large volume of suppliers
  • Partner with internal customers and information technology to develop and implement business and technology solutions.
The salary range is $105,900.00 to $137,000.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. A copy of the full job description can be made available to you. What we are searching for
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent 6 years work experience.
  • 2 years minimum Business Project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard best practices in Grocery or other retail preferred.
  • 4 years' experience in retail, accounting or supply chain required.
  • High degree of PC and mainframe skills and experience with QMF or SQL preferred.
  • Experience with electronic data industry standards strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and technology experts.
  • 3 years management experience with direct reports required
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to build and motivate a team.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and facilitate change within and outside the organization.
  • Highly skilled in problem solving, root cause analysis, risk evaluation and solution development.
