Join Day & Zimmermann as a Senior Manager of Operations, where you'll lead high-impact initiatives across our manufacturing and production lines.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee Manufacturing: Manage all production lines and key areas like planning and logistics to meet company objectives efficiently and at top quality.
* Lead Performance: Set and monitor performance indicators to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
* Foster Innovation: Partner with modernization teams to develop next-generation manufacturing talent and integrate best practices across locations.
* Champion Lean Practices: Implement Lean strategies and continuous improvement in every area of manufacturing, ensuring best practices are shared across our plants.
* Collaborate for Safety: Work closely with Health, Safety, and Environmental teams to address and prioritize safety in every aspect of operations.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
* Decision-Making Skills: Proactively make strategic choices and involve the right people in the process.
* Business Insight: Strong understanding of profitability and market dynamics, aligning decisions with strategic goals.
* Operational Excellence: Experience in Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma, Kaizen) and a drive to achieve ambitious goals.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Resolve issues quickly and thoughtfully, fostering effective group solutions.
And if you have these qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years in leadership and operations management, including experience with US Government contracting.
* Knowledge of ammunition manufacturing is a plus.
* Valid driver's license, clean background, and drug screening required.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $104,080.00 - $ 156,120.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
