Learn more at .Position Summary:The Senior Manager -– Procurement NA HR Services will be responsible for managing approximately $500 million in spend for Johnson & Johnson Companies across HR services inclusive of Contingent Labor. The spend is managed in close collaboration with the Director NA HR Service Procurement and the Global Category Team and requires collaboration with key stakeholders across all J&J sectors and functions to execute. This role will plan and direct the organization's activities and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence, including corporate social responsibility.The role will provide regional leadership in NA for executing against category strategies, leading the implementation of global category strategies, maintaining key business partner relationships and managing key supplier relationships. This spend is highly complex in nature and requires a close collaboration with key stakeholders within the business to execute. This individual will identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurement goals and strategy. Plan and direct the organization's activities and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence.• Develop and drive the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community.• Develop the vision, strategy and implementation plan for HR Services categories of spend that will effectively meet the long-range requirements of the business partners and deliver maximum value for J&J• Program Manage our resource programs across the business segments and cross functions across North America.• Interface directly with CEO's and other supplier leadership to ensure J&J's objectives are met, including quality, service, innovation compliance, and cost.• Identifies business demand requirements and partners with Business Engagement Leads to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage. • Understand long range requirements of the business partners and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment• Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments• Strong project management skills to ensure successful implementation of complex programs that impact all sectors and functions of J&J.• Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business• Identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurements goals and category strategies, based on deep subject matter expertise and an informal understanding of industry/market dynamics• Escalate issues that may impact the Global Procurement organization.• Identify and lead regional sourcing projects across a wide range of HR Services sub-categories.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and execute Procurement strategies that are aligned with the business/sector needs (30%)• Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations (25%)• Ensure execution of category strategies to include: sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets (25%)• Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Operating Principles (10%)• Lead team meetings and provide updates to Global Procurement Leadership (5%)• Manage & prioritize portfolio of Procurement segment (JJIM, Med Tech) specific initiatives (5%)QualificationsEducation:A minimum of a Bachelors or equivalent University degree is required. Masters or Advanced degree preferred.Required:• A minimum of 8 years relevant work experience.• Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management).• Experience visioning and developing strategy in a complex and/or matrixed environment is required.• Multi-country and Multi sector experience preferred with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses.• Strong leadership, vison setting, communication, influencing, and collaboration are required• Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary. • Experience in Process Excellence, specifically, process creation and Improvement is preferred. Six Sigma/Lean Process Excellence Certification preferred but not required. • Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues• Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with J&J senior Management• Strong project and change management capabilities• Strong ability to set strategy direction• Strong Business Acumen• Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information• Ability to continuously improve the organizationPreferred:• High level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)• High level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community• Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g., businesses, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain); has presence • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and executing significant influencing roles.• Significant business acumen and proven team building skills• Proven examples of delivering step function performance and ability to develop visions, strategies, etc. while managing reasonable risk• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization is able to effectively and efficiently move through transitions.Other:• This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel.• · The anticipated base pay range for this position is 120,000 to 207,000 $USD.· The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
