Do you want to be part of a highly innovative team within a growing organization? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then product management at Capital One may be a fit for you.

Join the fast-growing Capital One Travel team, as we seek to transform the way customers book travel. We aim to grow an industry-leading travel booking platform that customers love and delivers unique, differentiated benefits to our millions of customers while also powering the headline marketable benefits of our credit card products.

Here is what you will bring to the table:
  • Curious. You ask why, you explore, you're not afraid to blurt out your crazy idea, or follow an email chain for weeks to find someone with an answer.
  • Do-er. You have a bias toward action, you try things, and sometimes you fail. You dug up a hidden feature in an API that let you do something really cool or introduced a new routine that broke down silos led to better decisions.
  • Passionate. You care about growing others and bringing them together around what's possible. You have a customer-centric mindset and champion their needs. You are passionate about growing those around you. You've started meetup groups or taught General Assembly courses because you love enabling others.
  • Communicator. You can communicate complex ideas clearly, your team knows their priorities and why they're doing what they're doing. Maybe you're an introvert, or maybe you're an extrovert, but nobody accuses you of keeping them out of the loop. You are viewed as a trusted teammate.
  • Wrangler. You've gotten back-end engineers to play nice with iOS developers, you can inspire an ETL developer to write creatively about her latest pipeline.
  • Fearless. Big, undefined problems don't frighten you. You can work at a tiny crack until you've broken open the whole nut. You are comfortable saying no.
What you'll do in this role:
  • Create a vision & roadmap for your product that addresses customer & business needs.
  • Lead, empower, and guide multiple talented product managers aimed at refining & delivering on that vision.
  • Partner with designers to dig deep into customer needs and ensure key customer pain points are addressed and our products are easy to use.
  • Partner with multiple engineering teams to bring your product to life.
  • Work with analysts to continuously refine the roadmap and harvest insights from experiments & product launches.
  • Work with stakeholders across Capital One to define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to understand the evolution and success of the product.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital product management.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on Mobile Apps.
