A professional services firm is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their staff as their new Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director. In this role, the Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director will be responsible for developing implementing, and executing tax controversy consulting services to the Fortune 1000 and mid-sized clients. Responsibilities: The Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director will be responsible for delivering value through execution of technical consulting requiring a deep understanding of the IRC, case law and other technical guidance related to coordination of deficiency interest in concert with overpayment and underpayment across tax periods requiring the creative application of the interest netting rules. Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Tax experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Taxation and/or a related field
• Experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
