From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Starbucks Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the development of our largest seasonal marketing campaigns and strategies to engage our customers and deepen their love for Starbucks. You will collaborate with a broad group of cross-functional partners to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, and develop communication strategies to engage our customers at all points along the customer journey.

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will…

  • Lead the seasonal campaign work for our Holiday promotion, building strategies to strengthen connection with our customers and balance short-term and long-term marketing priorities across all communications channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies, proactively identifying new opportunities to encourage store visits and support Brand engagement throughout the season.
  • Lead the marketing strategy for Holiday at Starbucks, finding new ways to improve the customer experience and influencing our long-term strategy.
  • Manage the creation of marketing briefs, guide, and evaluate creative work with our agencies, ensuring output is on strategy and on budget.
  • Develop and implement marketing research plans in partnership with Consumer Insights & Analytics to inform Go-To-Market strategies and creative briefs.
  • Partner with a broad group of cross-functional partners and our agency to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans and cross-channel communication strategies, generate new ideas, manage projects, and resolve issues.
  • Support the development of written communications including leadership presentations, campaign recaps, and marketing business cases for new programs or initiatives.
  • We'd love to Hear From People With

  • Minimum 5+ years of brand management experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to navigate change and ambiguity
  • As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. Partners have access to short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation from date of hire, sick time, eight paid holidays, and two personal days per year. Starbucks also offers eligible partners participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a discounted company stock program (S.I.P.), Starbucks equity program (Bean Stock), incentivized emergency savings, and financial well-being tools. Additionally, Starbucks offers 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through Arizona State University's online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, student loan management resources, and access to other educational opportunities.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to two days per week.

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
