Job DescriptionAre you a creative and driven self-starter eager to take your B2B marketing skills to the next level? As a Senior Specialist - Marketing, you will have the opportunity to lead impactful marketing programs while working closely with suppliers and sales teams. This role will drive brand awareness and support sales growth by collaborating with suppliers and leveraging co-op marketing initiatives. You will develop strategies to promote company products and services, create compelling content, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to reach target audiences. Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy and Supplier Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the sales team and suppliers to align marketing strategies with sales goals, ensuring an integrated approach that supports revenue objectives.
  • Develop and manage co-op marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of supplier funds to create impactful marketing campaigns to maximize brand visibility and drive mutual business growth.
Content Creation and Digital Marketing:
  • Create compelling content, including case studies and promotional materials that reflect both the company's and suppliers' brand messaging.
  • Manage and update the company website, social media platforms, and digital channels, ensuring content is optimized for engagement and SEO.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and paid advertising (e.g., PPC), using data insights to adjust strategies and maximize ROI.
Brand Development and Event Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate and manage trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other industry events, developing strategies to maximize participation, lead generation, and brand exposure.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, including supplier-driven initiatives, providing regular updates to management.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve campaign effectiveness, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supplier product groups to understand business needs and align marketing activities accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant industry preferred.
  • 4 to 5 years required, 6 years preferred of product, solution or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.
  • Marketing strategy and implementation, including a working knowledge of multi-channel marketing and associated best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to internal and external groups.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with a customer-centric focus and commitment to quality.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to spot questionable information or unusual data trends, combined with a disciplined problem-solving process that applies conceptual thinking to identify root cause(s) and provide appropriate solution(s).
  • Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the big picture.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), working knowledge and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML or wordpress skills.
  • Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
  • Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
