Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Senior MAT Peer Adherence Worker to support our Brentwood site.

The MAT Senior Peer Adherence Worker provides guidance and support to peer workers promoting consistency in collaboration of recovery support services. Has lived experience and knowledge of recovery support community resources. Provides direct recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorders including engagement, retention, and provides evidenced based interventions. Facilitates harm reduction training, and distribution of harm reduction materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide outreach and engagement support to people who have substance use disorders.
  • Support orientation and ongoing training for MAT peers.
  • Submit requested reports completed and on time.
  • Maintain professional competence through participation in staff development and educational programming.
  • Conduct chart review to verify accuracy of reporting.
  • Complete recovery support plans with patients.
  • Facilitate Harm Reduction Trainings including but not limited to Opioid Overdose Prevention, Fentanyl Test Strips, Xylazine Test strips and other harm reduction aspects to care.
  • Complete care plans with patients.
  • Knowledge of and linkage to recovery support services.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance peer and program services.
  • Provide guidance and support to peer workers ensuring consistency in recovery support tailored to the unique needs of each individual patient.
  • Maintain visibility and positive relationship with site staff promoting increased interdepartmental collaboration of care for patients who have substance use disorder.
  • Provide direct recovery support utilizing the eight dimensions of wellness and evidenced based models of care.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education: Associate's degree, Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)

Salary Range: $17.75-20.25
