Job DescriptionJob Summary:Evaluate, select, and apply advanced level mechanical engineering techniques to the new design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of assigned projects. The primary focus of this role will be advanced mechanical design & automation of liquid & powder application systems for the internal corrosion control coating of tubular goods. The secondary focus will be abrasive blasting applications for internal surface prep of tubular goods. The desired candidate must be able to balance a mixture of engineering design and field implementation. This position be responsible for the full product lifecycle including Design, R&D, Testing, Field Installation, Field Commissioning, and Continuous Improvement.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and installation of multiple engineering-based projects. Projects typically consist of new equipment design, new equipment construction, and refurbishment of existing used equipment.
- Lead the conceptual development, design, and implementation of complex, large-scale manufacturing equipment and oversee its organization, scheduling, cost control, and implementation.
- Provide hands-on operational field support to all manufacturing facilities including technical based troubleshooting of equipment, modifications of existing equipment, and installation of new equipment.
- Includes on-site and indirect management of various contractors performing work within NOV Tuboscope facilities.
- Review, comment, and modify consultant or in-house prepared design drawings for compliance with numerous regulatory agencies.
- Utilize AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor to complete engineering design projects successfully and within budget.
- Use established practices and apply educational knowledge of mechanical design engineering principles.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years' Experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Bachelor of Science or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Must be familiar with Autodesk 3D Inventor and/or similar 3D modeling applications.
- Travel requirements are below 25% but may include both international and domestic travel opportunities based on project assignments.
