SENIOR MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

LOCATION: Louisville, KY or Memphis, TN or Cincinatti, OH

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the lead coordinator of mechanical design activities for the project.
• Collaborate with project team members including mechanical design engineers, electrical engineers, project managers and customers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Work with Project Management to develop and manage the engineering design plan and schedule for the project.
• Check drawings and provide feedback to the design team.
• Perform a material take-off from project drawings and bills-of-materials and generate purchase requisitions.
• Research / review customer specifications to understand requirements and ensure compliance.
• Travel to customer facilities to conduct site surveys and document as-built conditions.
• Specify components and materials required as per the design and create equipment manifests.
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or Inventor software to review and collaborate on material handling system designs.
• Prepare drawing packages and transmittals for customer reviews.
