About the Role
In this dynamic role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of 3D printing technology. 🚀 From developing system-level requirements to optimizing thermal designs, your contributions will directly impact the success of groundbreaking products. Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Develop system-level requirements and oversee hardware updates.
- Design and optimize thermal expansions and modify key components, such as PCBs, extruders, and hot ends.
- Reverse engineer designs to enhance product functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative 3D printing products to life. 🤝
- Apply expertise in polymer thermodynamics, heat transfer, and air cooling.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to designing and creating a brand-new 3D printer under NDA-protected projects. 🖨️
- Actively participate in testing and iterating on prototypes to ensure top-tier product performance.
- Provide input on manufacturing processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Industrial and electrical engineering experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of FFF/FDM 3D printing processes and materials like polypropylene and polyethylene.
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation software for design and thermal analysis. 💻
- Reverse engineering experience with a focus on practical solutions.
- Strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Skills:
- Screw extrusion and fabrication experience.
- Understanding of polymer thermodynamics, heat transfer, and air cooling systems.
