Title: Senior Research Analyst, Insights and Measurement
Report to: SVP, Insights and Measurement
Location: NYC
The Screenvision Media Insights and Measurement team provides data analysis and insights on the cinema media landscape and Screenvision Media's performance across the country. The team analyzes both primary and secondary research to inform internal stakeholders with strategic insights as well as support national, regional and local sales initiatives.
Description:
The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for responding to sales requests while analyzing data and forming insights with leading industry research tools.
Responsibilities:
* Work alongside Director and VP on larger, more complex national sales requests
* Deep knowledge of Nielsen software and other research related software (MRI, Maptitude) to produce reports for sales and all business units
* Work directly with the national and local sales teams to provide strategic research in support of client specific presentations including the annual upfront, general presentation meetings
* Collaborate with client solutions to create client specific sales presentations
* Participation in internal sales meetings
* Gather and report on intelligence on competitive landscape, trends, clients
* Work directly with clients and agencies to develop and manage custom research studies
* Coordinate with analytics team to track, measure, report and forecast audiences
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (marketing/communications/business major preferred)
* 3+ years ad sales and/or media research experience, television or agency experience
* Excellent analytical and oral communication skills
* Must be proficient in Microsoft office (Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Powerpoint)
* Working knowledge of MRI and Nielsen products
* Very strong business writing skills required
* Interest in media and entertainment industry preferred
* Positive attitude

Salary Range: 50,000-60,000 USD Annually + Benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
