Job Title: Senior Microsoft Platform EngineerJob Location: Boston MA 02116Onsite Requirements:AzureTerraformAnsibleJob Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:Contributes to and supports the enterprise Azure / O365 strategy, standards and best practicesManage and support Exchange Online, Intune device management and AZURE ADCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them to generate appropriate systems design architecture documentationUse knowledge of identity and access management in on-premises solutions and the cloud inclusive of Azure AD Connect and third-party identity providersDeep understanding of Active Directory, Group policies and DNSArchitectural understanding of M365 security constructs and data protections such as DLP, RMS/IRM, Azure Information ProtectionDevelop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams, designed to increase productivityParticipate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the cloudCreate and implement automation in the form of infrastructure as codeEnsure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standardsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field5+ years IT experience with 2+ years Azure/O365 experience requiredExperience scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languageExperience with orchestration and configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, or equivalentSolid understanding of complex global networking topologies and zero-trust firewalling practices.Strong passion for technology, a willingness to learn new skills and the ability to evangelize the uses of cloud servicesSelf-motivated and self-directed, ability to translate technical direction into functional solutionsAbility to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teamsProven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to completionExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem analysis capabilities yet, able to conceptualize end-state solutionsAbility to influence others effectivelyProven team-oriented person who can share information, goals, opportunities, successes, and failures with the appropriate parties** 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens.
