Senior NERC Compliance Engineer
Responsibilities
- Coordinate company compliance activities with NPCC and NERC and respond to NERC Alerts.
- Engage with subject matter experts across the company to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance.
- Engage with subject matter experts across the company to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance
- Oversee the NERC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program, maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Participate in NPCC and NERC committees and working groups.
- Coordinate activities with compliance partners and peers including the NYISO, NYPA and neighboring utilities.
- Participate in evaluating new NERC Standards and brief executives on emerging compliance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with NERC reliability Standards.
- Competency in drafting technical procedures, business process documents or specifications for the electric power industry.
