Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is seeking a Senior Network Administrator with Top Secret Clearance for an entirely on-site assignment at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to support our client's team efforts for the DoD.
The target annual salary is $120,000.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide network administration and operational support for classified network infrastructure
- Recommend solutions for new equipment, software, network configuration, design, and management, including details, specifications, hardware components, and part numbers
- Provide technical support for the operations of a fiber optic and twisted pair-based network infrastructure
- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of the Network
- Expansion, Modification, Integration, and Redundancy of the Network
- Diagnostics and Testing of Network using software/hardware tool suites
- Firewall Policy Management
- HAIPE Inline Network Encryption (Taclane) management
- Traffic Analysis: NetFlow, SNMPv3 traps, syslog, Wireshark, etc.
- Network Problem Analysis, Diagnosis, and Resolution
- Assist with Security Audits
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Install, configure, and maintain L2 and L3 switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Knowledge of VLANS, layer 2 switching, LAN Management, and Ports, protocols & services
- Fabricate, test, and install Ethernet cables
- FortiGate, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco Firewalls. FortiGate Firewall experience preferred
- Familiarity with DISA STIG
- Network monitoring applications, e.g., SolarWinds
- Strong background with Cisco ISE, RADIUS servers, and 802.1x
- Familiarity with VoIP
- COMSEC accounting or handling policies training

- Strong experience with SolarWinds
- Strong self-starter attitude, team-oriented and good communication skills are a must
- Familiar with RMF, STIGs, and compliance
Required Certifications:

Standard Benefits Include:
- Standard benefits include 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO that includes sick leave). Any unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary.
- There are 2 floating and 8 public holidays. Floating and holidays expire at the end of every employee's first year of service.
- The client will cover only 50% of health and dental insurance for all full-time employees. However, dependents can be added at extra cost.
- Employee health and dental coverage becomes effective after 30 days or the first of the month after an employee completes the initial 30 working days; the client covers 50% of the employee's health and dental insurance.
- Employees must finish all health and dental paperwork in the first 30 days of employment.
- STD, LTD, and the one-time salary equivalent of life insurance to all full-time employees at no cost.
- All full-time or W-2 employees with no benefits will be eligible to participate in the client's 401k program after 90 days of employment, with a company match of 4% and immediate vesting.
