Position: Senior Network Consultant Location: Remote Remote Status: Remote Job Id: 144of Openings:1 Senior Network Consultant Location: Remote, Remote CQA seeks a Senior Network Consultant as part of its Modeling Systems division. The successful applicant must be familiar with the financial analysis and architecture of communication networks. Demonstrated experience in cable (HFC, FTTP) networks is preferred. This candidate will have a strong background and familiarity with broadband telecommunications equipment such as FTTP technologies, ROADMs, routers, and switches. Knowledge of finance, accounting, economics, and capital planning is required. This individual should be willing to develop complex analytical models as well as dive into the work of others. The successful applicant will interact with a range of clients to derive the necessary information to support financial models for valuation purposes. The successful applicant must be comfortable communicating across multiple organizational levels, leading projects, and be considered a subject matter expert. The ability for this person to be consultative with clients is crucial. The successful applicant must demonstrate a record of progressive responsibility and will have at least 10 years of experience with wireline or wireless carrier. This experience will include the following areas: understanding of contemporary wireline or wireless communications engineering development of cost models for carrier-grade networks and fiber broadband/video technologies understanding of capacity costing, activity-based costing, profitability/contribution studies, business cases, economic value-added analysis, and capital budgeting familiarity with long-run incremental cost model inputs and ability to develop and test model outputs the ability to analyze engineering cost studies and develop accurate, defensible summary analytics the ability to listen, analyze, and implement client-focused solutions excellent writing and presentation skills keen attention to detail and highly collaborative the ability to describe and document methods suitable for court proceedings the ability to support or provide expert witness testimony the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving, team-based environment Additional Requirements Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required. Experience in Knime, Alteryx, and a programming/database language (i.e. SQL or Python) preferred. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, math/statistics, engineering, finance, or related fields with additional graduate or professional studies.
