Rate: $68 - $79 per hour - 40 Hours Per Week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our client's team in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for a candidate with advanced technical and project experience, particularly in network engineering within IoT, SCADA, and operational technology environments. The selected individual will support network refresh projects, enhance documentation, and manage configurations for critical technology networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Documentation & Diagramming: Develop detailed documentation and diagrams for network and firewall configurations in corporate, SCADA, and Azure environments.
- Project Support: Provide support for the Arista TAPP aggregation network refresh, DMF, and Palo Alto firewall refresh initiatives.
- IoT, SCADA & OT Management: Oversee and maintain IoT, SCADA, and OT networks, ensuring alignment with the Purdue model and high availability for critical operational technologies.
- AIOps Integration: Use AIOps tools to improve network monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting processes.
- Private Cellular and VSAT Technology: Manage integration and maintenance of VSAT technology, private cellular networks, and RTUs in SCADA systems.
- Cabling and Data Center Management: Develop cabling matrices, create detailed rack diagrams, and assist with power planning in data center installations.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with AIOps tools and solutions.
- Experience in IoT, SCADA, OT, and IT networks, including design and troubleshooting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Visio for diagramming.
- Knowledge of the Purdue model, VSAT technology, RTUs, and private cellular networks.
Project Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Arista TAPP aggregation network projects.
- Familiarity with network refreshes, particularly in Palo Alto firewall environments.
Documentation & Diagramming:
- Strong skills in creating cabling matrices, network and rack diagrams, and data center power planning documentation.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent are preferred.
