Venturi is a subcontractor to a company that operates, maintains, and sustains mission-critical systems to provide safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial, and international space lift vehicles. We support ballistic missile, guided weapon, and aeronautical tests and evaluations as well as support space situational awareness operations and experiments to defend the United States to ensure our nation's safety. We offer our team of experienced, professional employees an environment of challenging, stimulating, and personally and professionally rewarding career opportunities.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal project team and vendors to design and implement network environments for the Western Range.Develop process and procedures for administering and supporting new network environments.Design, build, configure and maintain network environment including routers, switches, physical firewalls, virtual firewalls, load balancers, network security devices and other network equipment.Supervise subcontractors and vendors performing installations and configurations.Provide hands-on support for network environment.Design, develop and test integrated network solutions.Facilitate the engineering process by preparing and conducting analyses of engineering data utilizing common and custom tools.Develop documentation, processes, and procedures to facilitate the delivery of engineering products.Conduct vendor analyses and procurement specifications.Analyze, prepare, and package engineering data for reports and presentations.Present the results of analyses to management and customers.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, math or other STEM-related field.2+ years' experience in an engineering, data analysis, or other networking related discipline.Experience with the engineering development process, preferably in an engineering related field.Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software, and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas.CompTIA Security+ certification.Background check with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be willing to travel 10% of time (to Pillar Point, CA).Cisco Certified Network Associate (200-301 CCNA) or ability to obtain within (6) months of hire date.Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate to management and customers.Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members.Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Estimated Salary/WageUSD $120,000.00/Yr.
