The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Goodwill Central Texas' network infrastructure, with a focus on Fortinet devices. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of the network. The Senior Network Engineer will lead network-related projects, mentor junior IT staff, and provide advanced technical support. Superior customer service and collaboration with cross-functional teams are critical aspects of this role. Essential Duties. Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and access points, primarily in a Fortinet environment. Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. Conduct advanced security assessments ensuring the network is safeguarded against emerging threats. Monitor network traffic and respond to security alerts.
