Responsibilities for this Position Role and Position Objectives: Join our team as a Network Engineer for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining networking services. This includes managing data transmission (audio and video), solving connectivity issues, and upgrading security systems. Relocation assistance is available. What You'll Experience:
- Designing and managing network services, including Cisco routers, switches, and VOIP systems.
- Managing COMSEC material and Type 1 encryption systems
- Configuring and maintaining TACLANE devices for secure network communications
- Troubleshooting and resolving network and connectivity issues.
- Implementing and upgrading network security systems.
- Supporting video teleconferencing and various other network components.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment.
- Experience with COMSEC accounting, handling, and key management procedures
- Knowledge of TACLANE configuration, operation, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of LAN and WAN design, including VLANs and IPv4 subnetting.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
- Experience with network security tools and performance monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with VoIP and VTC system architecture and deployment.
- Current and active TS/SCI clearance
What Sets You Apart:
- Ability to develop comprehensive network documentation and test plans.
- Expertise in network security tools like NAC, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solarwinds, Wireshark, IPERF).
- Proficiency in Call Routing, SIP Trunks, and other telecommunication configurations.
- Experience with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guidelines.
